Sean, thank you for posting your pictures. Especially the pix/video on Montecito, I used to live very close, walked dog/donkey down there a lot. Do you know if the roundhouse made it? How about the Lemurian retreat? They were weird but good neighbors. Excellent photography, loved the compositions, very dramatic. Please don't buy a suit and give it up!
Lisa asked about the roundhouse. I'm not sure which you mean. I live in a roundhouse off Archie Moore and it's fine. There's a geodesic dome that burned on the east side of town, near Rancho Vista Dr.
Sean, thanks for the photos! I wish I'd seen them when I was evacuated and the news seemed to forget all about Ramona.
The round house is at the end of Montecito Way. It's in some of Sean's pictures dated Mon. the 22nd. It's also in his video too, I think. I've always assumed it's round, maybe it's octagonal...? Anyway, no need to respond, we'll be down there on Sat. Glad to hear your round house made it's Susan. You're right about the TV news coverage. I live in the northstate now and I got nothing from them about Ramona or any inland area. All the information I got was from websites, KPBS, the Ramona Sentinel, the Union-Tribune, Sean's site, etc. That's where the real stuff is now.
My name is Sean Evans and I am a real estate photographer. I have lived in Ramona for 20 years. I have been up here in Ramona since the fire started photographing as much as I can, because I know a lot of people are worried about what's going on up here. I have to commend every firefighter up here in Ramona. I have witnessed them on numerous occasions saving homes and animals. The CDF Air Attack are the braviest, most skilled men and women I have seen in a long time. San Diego better give them a raise and a parade!
*All pictures that have been placed on this site are the sole property of Sean Evans. If you wish to get more information on my photography you may e-mail me at sean@fcvirtualtours.com
